After the Scorching

This was a place that used to be filled with trees and vegitation. After the forest fires that struck all over texas a few years back however, it now looks like this. This was taken about a year after the fire when my family and I decided to look around at what property my step dad had there. All we found was this and a bunch of scorpions, snakes, etc. under all the flat rocks. Kind of sad really.
